Summer is a wonderful time. There are so many fresh fruits and vegetables and berries. On Saturday morning I was standing in the kitchen and was thinking what should I make for breakfast. I wanted to surprise my wife with something completely new and healthy.

Blueberry and melon salad with mizuna and chia seeds
I opened the fridge and I spotted blueberries and melon. I have never tried to make salad with these to wonderful ingredients. I cut melon into small pieces and added blueberries. Then I went to the balcony, where I'm growing some herbs. I took a handful of mizuna. I cut mizuna leaves into smaller pieces.
One of my favorite thing in green salads are chia seeds. They give interesting texture and very healthy and also taste great. The final touch of the salad was organic flaxseed oil and some salt and black pepper.

100 g mizuna |
100 g melon |
100 g blueberry |
2 tbsp chia seeds |
4 tbsp flaxseed oil |
salt |
black pepper |
Cut melon into small pieces and then mix all ingredients together.
