There are many different ways to make hummus. So, try yourself and make something you really like. My first experiment with homemade hummus was avocado hummus. I love the taste of avocado and beside the great taste it is healthy, full of energy (190 kcal per 100 gram of avocado) and good fat (19,5 g per 100 gram avocado).
Sometimes you want to do something fancy. When I have guests and I want to prepare something tasty and visually striking, I make both avocado hummus and beetroot hummus. Green and red together have delightful visual effect

1 jalapeno |
0,25 cup cilantro |
2 lime |
It take about 5 minutes to make avocado hummus and it is ready form your enjoyment.
Put avocado, chickpeas, jalapeno, cilantro leaves and fresh lime juice into food processor. In a couple of minutes your hummus is ready.
